More Than a Tackle Shop
Ingram Bait & Tackle started as a small roadside stand on the way to Lake Buchanan. Bob Ingram had a cooler of live shiners, a folding table, and a passion for putting people on fish. Word spread fast.
Nearly 40 years later, we're still in the same spot — just with a lot more rod racks and a whole lot more stories. We've watched kids catch their first bass off our dock, helped tournament anglers dial in their rigs the morning of a weigh-in, and become the morning coffee stop for half the guides on the Highland Lakes.
We know these lakes. We fish them constantly. When we say a lure is working, it's because we were throwing it yesterday.

Bob Ingram
Founder & Head Guide
Third-generation angler born and raised on Lake Buchanan. Bob opened the shop in 1987 with a cooler of shiners and a handshake. Still on the water before sunrise every morning.
Diane Ingram
Co-Owner & Gear Expert
Diane runs the shop floor and knows every lure by heart. If a crankbait catches bass on Inks Lake, she probably found it. Ask her anything — she loves to talk tackle.
Jake Ingram
Live Bait & Online Store
Jake manages the live bait tanks and built out our online store. He holds the shop record for biggest striper caught on Buchanan — 28 lbs on a live shiner.
